Worth every penny so far. My pool is sparkling clear again. I've owned other high price cleaners from pressure side to robotics. They all lasted a year or two at the most. This unit does just as good a job for less cost. My pool is an in-ground gunite 16ft x 32ft x 5ft deep the entire length. I guess you can say I have an above ground pool in-ground. I have two return lines opposite side at each end of the 32ft length. A single unit can not reach the opposite side without extra hoses. Therefore, I purchased another unit after seeing how the first unit worked to work the opposite end. Why 4 stars instead of 5. I don't like the cone shape rubber universal adapter that fits into the skimmer suction opening. Once this is installed, it's impossible to get out. Also, you have to remove your skimmer basket for it to work. This means your by-passing the skimmer basket straight into the suction pump basket. I hook the unit's hoses to this and make my suction adjustments at the pump diverter valve which can handle both units. The float ring is the key to making this unit work properly. I've located mine ruffly 5ft so as to allow the disk to stay flat on the pool floor and the remainder of hose to float. I believe this would be a problem with pools of different depths. This Mamba will climb walls.
