  79. Are slaves the only high price commodities? This system is often chosen by players connected with the Empire as it is dominated by Imperial Factions. I understand the way to sell to the right systems and I usually make an ok profit, but nothing like 4k per ton! I used to do this long ago around Yimanbin.
  80.
  81. I have my own analysis program for finding 3 and 4 loop trades, and the basic data is available on eddb. Since most of trading times are spent traveling to places in systems and docking, only having to do so twice in an entire run saves on tons of time wasting tasks. Buy cargo, disembark 5.

  83.  - I should have added that. I haven't had anything beyond a type 6 yet, but I heard you can get as high as 35ly+ in jump distance, so my run could be reduced to about 4-5 jumps there and 3-4 jumps back, 8 or so in total, which would still be better than any other 650k profit and could be performed more than several times in an hour at that rate.

  85. That a pretty good route. I have not tried this route in a couple of days, but LTT 8517 to Lusonda was pretty profitable for me. It is about 41ly between the two, and Lusonda was buying for about 18k. I ran that route a couple days ago as well, both ways is about 5200 Cr per ton total. Though since Lusonda to LTT 8517 is only a few hundred Cr profit per ton, I've heard of guys heading over to the CZ with empty holds before jumping back and earning a few more Cr that way. Also to break up the monotony. It'll be hard to get people to give up their most profitable trade routes due to the way the economy works. But I will say you can do MUCH better than 2. But what ship are you running? That makes a big difference. A one jump, two station route usually takes 8-10 minutes to completely and should net at least 4K per ton, per loop. That comes out to ~24K per ton, per loop, per hour. If he only has 100T of cargo space in his Type-6 then he is only going to be making approximately 2. To OP, as for trade routes, you should be looking for a route that you can complete in 10 minutes and make ~4K per ton, per loop on. Once you start getting into larger ships you can be a bit lax on the amount per ton. For example I carry 448T in my trade Conda. I'm only making 3. But I can make the loop in under 10 minutes and end up making roughly 11M an hour. Now from the sounds of it your route is profitable. Some extra advice though, multipurpose ships are better at trading than trade ships. ASP 120T Type-7 ~200T vs. Python 272T The only one that can carry more is the Type-9 with 500T vs. But in every example the multi-purpose ships are better haulers since the can defend themselves and generally are not easy targets in comparison to their transport counterparts. Ive never seen 4k profit on other commodities. Meby progenitor cells, or like mineables. Are slaves the only high price commodities? Ive avoided trading, or even smuggling them. Once there is a game mechanic to free them ill try that. I understand the way to sell to the right systems and I usually make an ok profit, but nothing like 4k per ton! These numbers are only for slaves right? Ive never seen 4k profit on other commodities. Meby progenitor cells, or like mineables. Are slaves the only high price commodities? Ive avoided trading, or even smuggling them. Once there is a game mechanic to free them ill try that. I understand the way to sell to the right systems and I usually make an ok profit, but nothing like 4k per ton! The concept is simple, buy lucrative goods like slaves or narcotics in systems that they are legal in. Then haul them to systems where they are illegal, and find a black market to sell them. Black market prices are always much high than commodity market prices for lucrative goods. Imperial Slaves are the most popular because they are the most Cr er ton, therefore the profit margin is the highest.
  86. For example, an Agricultural system in Outbreak con medicines or Medical diagnostic equipment and sells food cheap. This will not only guarantee you get the income necessary to buy ships and fit better ship modules, but it means you'll also be able to increase your in-game rank. As you record a new discovery you earn xi points, the amount depending on how complex the object was to record directly on the site. Lost a bit of money because of it. I ran it last night so it's worth a check. Dock, Sell cargo, set return destination path. Mine is per this: 1.
